The play opens with a dishevelled woman carrying plastic bags which hold all her identities. Nothing in the nondescript role she portrays on the street gives truth to her past. As she begins to re-live stages of her life we discover a multifaceted world that she has discarded. Her search for an identity that she can feel comfortable with doesn’t materialise. Each of these brings responsibilities and complications which she cannot cope with and so continues to be reduced to a bag lady.
